Yes! If a spray tanning therapist is available in your area you can book in with them on the same day, however as it is likely to be last minute, we do recommend you get in touch with us before booking a same day appointment so that we can confirm availability and avoid disappointment.
We will always try and accommodate the appointment, however we cannot guarantee therapists availability at short notice. We will do everything possible to send another therapist to carry out your spray tan but if no one is available and your appointment doesn’t go ahead, you will be issued with a refund on request.
-
Should you need to cancel your spray tan with us, you can contact your therapist using the contact info on your booking confirmation email or by emailing Mobile Spray Tan Bristol directly.
If you can’t make your designated time slot, you can rearrange your spray tan appointment once, to a date within one month of the original appointment. In order to rearrange your appointment, we require at least 24 hours notice prior to your original appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we require cancellation notice of 24 hours before your appointment is due to take place in order to provide a refund, minus transaction fee of £5.
Should you give us less than 24 hours notice to cancel or rearrange your appointment, no refund will be issued.

Gorgeous! Having a spray tan doesn’t mean you will go orange or tangoed. Tanning has come on so much over the last few years and the stigma which links spray tans with orange is slowly disappearing, as more people try out a safer way to get the tanned look.
The tanning gun and technique your therapist uses will ensure full skin coverage so that when you wash the excess off after developing time, you’re left with a gorgeous, sun kissed glow. The depth and colour of your spray tan will depend on which spray tanning solution your therapist is using. Feel free to ask your spray tan artist about the solution they work with.

All of our spray tan artists use different spray tanning solutions. Each tanning solution smells different so it really depends on the brand, however we think they all smell gorgeous so you can happily wear it in public whilst developing!
-
It’s really important to follow the easy instructions before your spray tan, and follow the advice of your spray tan artist after your tan. This will help your spray tan to look great for the maximum amount of time – around 8 days – and will fade evenly, just like a normal tan.
-
Not long at all! It takes just 5-10 minutes to set up our mobile booth and equipment, and then 10-15 minutes to complete the spray tan misting process. You could even have it done in your lunch hour at work, it’s that quick & easy. Should you be booking for multiple people to have a spray tan, please allow for around 5 minutes in between each person, so we can get everything ready again.

A least 24 hours before your appointment, shave, wax and exfoliate (when exfoliating, concentrate on drier areas such as elbows, knees and ankles). Make sure any moisturisers you use are oil free. If it’s your first professional spray tan, you should have a patch test done (at least 24 hours before) to ensure you are not allergic to spray tanning products.
Immediately before we arrive, remove any makeup, deodorant and moisturisers, or anything that could act as a barrier between your skin and the spray tanning product. This could lead to discoloration. Your therapist will moisturise any particularly dry areas such as hands, feet, knees and elbows, using an oil-free moisturiser. After your tan, your therapist will wipe over your fingernails, palms and toenails to prevent discolouration.
You should wear whatever you feel most comfortable in; most female clients go topless but wear a dark thong or similar, and some wear a dark bikini. Your therapist will usually carry disposable underwear.
We ask that male clients wear nothing smaller than boxer shorts when having a spray tan.
-
After application it’s always recommended to wear loose, dark clothing. Bras, socks and shoes can be particularly bad at leaving marks, so try to have bare feet or open shoes (flip flops are ideal) and leave your bra off for as long as possible. If you can, try and stay clear of light fabrics for three to four hours. Spray tan solution is water soluble, so if anything does transfer from your skin onto fabric, wash immediately for best results.
Don’t get wet! Avoid exercise and swimming whilst your tan develops, or anything that could cause excessive perspiration. After eight hours (or less for express tans, speak to your therapist) your tan should be fully developed. For best results, we recommend leaving it on overnight before showering, then pat yourself dry and moisturise daily with an oil-free moisturiser.
After around 7 days, your tan will begin to fade. It’s then okay to exfoliate your skin to help the tan to fade evenly.

Our mobile spray tanning therapist will bring along a pop-up booth, specifically designed to protect your home from any mess. Most tanning solution is water soluble, so if any spray does settle in your home it can be easily cleaned up with soap and warm water.

Each spray tan solution has different guidelines. Most of our therapists offer an ‘express’ or ‘rapid’ tan. This means you can control how dark you get with how long you leave it on for (normally between 1-4 hours). Otherwise, your spray tan therapist will be able to give you an in-depth description of the shade your tan will go. Some therapists also have various depths of tan which are left on for 6-8 hours to develop fully. Your therapist will be able to advise which is best for your skin tone. How dark your skin goes may depend on your natural skin shade & skin type. Your skin will react more readily with repeat treatments, so ‘top up tans’ on a regular basis will help you go darker more naturally.
Please note, we do not recommend having more than one coat of tan in one appointment. As long as you have full coverage, your spray tan does not get any darker with extra spray and therefore your therapist will only spray you once. If you would still like an extra layer, a fee of £5 will incur.

You can pay very easily online using our booking service. We accept all major debit & credit cards. For our mobile spray tan therapists safety, and your convenience, we do not accept cash or cheque payments unless previously agreed with the management.

We are pleased to say that spray tanning is still the safest option to look gorgeous and tanned, whatever the weather!
In the wake of comments from US scientists prompting fears over the safety of spray tanning, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) has spoken out in support of the industry.
The CTPA said that the European Commission’s independent expert scientific committee, the SCCS, has reviewed the self-tanning ingredient DHA.
The SCCS looked at data to support the use of DHA in cosmetic formulations and specifically its use in spray cabins. The SCCS found that the use of DHA as a self-tanning ingredient in spray cabins “will not pose a risk to the health of the consumer”.The CPTA also stressed that in Europe the manufacture and import of all cosmetic products are covered by strict safety laws and undergo a safety assessment before they can be brought to market.
